We picked Star and her puppies up after a 650 km journey that took seven volunteers. Many rescues come from far distances and the transport teams that move them from where they are to where there are people to help them are imperative to rescues and the work they do.
We need to keep spreading the word and making people listen.
Dogs sold in pet stores do not, ever, come from reputable breeders (as many pet stores that sell dogs would have you believe). I can say that absolutely, 100% categorically, because there is no reputable breeder that would sell a puppy to a pet store to resell. (more…)
